Phil

Mark, it's either your camera or Vietnam in general, but there seems to be such vivid color in everything you're shooting. It just screams beauty. Pho Ga for $1.40 US -- unreal.

Thanks for another great post.

Phil, I do have a good camera but, you're right, Vietnam has a pretty mad and vibrant colour thing going on!

This blog is great! The food on here looks so good.

Never has a few words and pictures sparked my travel bug to the extent that this blog has. Vietnam is my next destination!

Great blog and wonderful recipe ideas. I teach on a few cookery Holidays around the world and I will definitely be recommending this blog to my students.

For Pho Ga, I would recommend Pho Ga at Nam Ngu Street , Hanoi. Every time I was there I ate at least two bowls of pho and still want to come back for more.

Here's the map for it http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Nam+Ngu+hanoi+Vietnam&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=Nam+Ng%C6%B0,+Hoan+Kiem,+H%C3%A0+N%E1%BB%99i,+Vietnam&gl=us&ei=qb95S_u5KMqFnAfxkP23CQ&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CAkQ8gEwAA

Been there Minh...years ago before I started the feature on pho...yes it is good though the woman who runs the show is a grumpy old bag, don't you think? Here's the link...it was one of the first posts I wrote:http://stickyrice.typepad.com/my_weblog/2005/07/sunday_morning_.html
