Be prepared to look into the eye of the beast you're about to eat.
If not before it meets its maker, then at least after, in the market.
Look at the features that remind you of you,
The bits that chew
The bit that licks.
Contemplate its life or better still, buy it.
Place it in your shopping bag
Frighten a small child with it
Then bring it to your kitchen and put it in a pot
Google a recipe
Do not be put off
You've eaten other parts of it.
So eat the head too.
I've cooked pigs head before and made brawn. I wonder how sheep's head would taste in a terrine ?

Ok, at first glance I thought they're fish heads. But I got a little scared when I realized they're sheeps'. Haha. I have had goat's head sour stew before and it's yummy. I wonder how sheep's head tastes like though.

It's not very pretty to look at, but in a stew it is delicious.

OMG, you are making my next trip to Greece easier: I wanted to avoid the popular touristic places and was looking for some interesting quiet, laidback locations overthere. You just helped me find a nice one, Thanks

I know they look horrible before cooked. It's like a murder scene. Bu I must admit that the soup from sheep head is one of my favorites. It is a specialty of some restaurants in Turkey, too. I love the garlic sauce and butter on the top. Squeeze some lemon and drop a little vinegar and enjoy. Yum yum!
